Crossroads Underground will gather again starting in January 2018.
Everyone is welcome at Crossroads Underground! While it’s designed with all ages in mind, Crossroads Underground gives students in particular a chance to help shape the service and take part as musicians, speakers, artists, and creative leaders in all forms. Every service is unique, dynamic, and filled with heart and spirit!
You can expect to sing, pray, read Scripture, hear a relevant message, and receive Communion. What makes Underground distinct are the ways it innovates these standard elements of worship. For instance, the welcoming prayer may take the form of a poem, spoken word piece, or sung liturgy. The “sermon” might be a facilitated conversation, where you get a chance to share a piece of your own story.
We encourage participation and group interactions, but no one will be pressured to contribute until and unless they feel comfortable doing so. Our desire is to create an atmosphere where we can all connect with God, wrestle with our Christian faith, and learn from one another.

Gatherings around tables in restaurants and bars, in nature, in coffee shops and homes, to celebrate God’s unconditional love and welcome with neighbors outside the walls of the church. To get involved with Imagine, watch the video, join the Meet-Up group, or email Cathy Norman.
