Research out of Duke University, Harvard University, University of Massachusetts, the University of Exeter Medical School in England, and the Lund University in Sweden points to decreased stress levels, better mental health and the boosting of immune functions for those who engage in these types of activities.

Living Well Mindful Meditation Class

Monthly on 4th Monday, 7pm - 8pm

This monthly class will focus on evidenced-based wellness and stress reduction practices and will include mindfulness meditation, restorative chair yoga, breathing exercises and guided meditation. The class will include a brief teaching and will allow significant time for the meditative experiences during each session.

Hatha Yoga (4 week session)

Saturdays in March 9:30am - 10:45am

This Hatha Yoga class will include postures, breath work and meditation with a focus on mindful awareness through postures, breath-work and meditation. Mindful Hatha Yoga is clinically recognized in improving overall health and wellness. The class will benefit beginners and advanced yoga practitioners with a specific focus on mindful awareness of the body and breath integrated as a moving meditation. All people are welcome without discrimination.

Roots and Wings Yoga for Kids and Family

This one hour workshop will equip you and your child (ages 4 through 5th grade) to connect to God's Spirit within and to each other through simple stress releasing games, movements, breathing practices, prayer and meditation.

No yoga experience or flexibility needed. You will leave with take-home tools to enjoy the blessing of a few short family yoga practices to share at home, at school and anywhere.
