Crossroads Kids: Where God’s Kids Grow

Every Sunday at 10am (Summer Schedule) a group of dedicated and loving volunteers serve the youngest members of our Crossroads family. Their purpose is to share in the experience with families to “train children in the way they should go so that when they grow old, they won’t depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6 CEB).

During Sundays, Crossroads Kids are going on an ADVENTURE into ancient times, to discover that God is God, and to see that humans are incredible beings created and called to love God, to love ourselves and to love others. Children will learn a story about an amazing biblical character – always through the lens of the most amazing lead character, Jesus – and learn that we are also amazing characters in God’s Big Story.

Imagine the life cycle of a Sunflower (planting, watering, sunshine, growing, and producing fruit.) We will help the children to discover that every day God plants the seed in our hearts, calling each of us to serve and to share God’s love with ourselves and others.

The children will experience this growth with a visual of the life cycle of a sunflower, through memory verse cards and a weekly life application that they can take home and live out in their everyday lives.

Please contact Flor Norris-Hoydilla if you have any questions about Crossroads Kids.

Come be a part of the experience! Volunteer opportunities available Sunday mornings at 9 and 11 am or Summers at 10am. Click Here.
