Prayer is our vital connection and communication with God. Intercessory prayer (praying for others) is a way of loving others. Nurture Guides reach out into the congregation in a number of ways to pray with and for those in this community:

Prayer Team:

Our prayer team lifts to God all the prayer concerns written during the Sunday worship gathering.

Prayer at the Cross after Worship Gatherings:

Each Sunday there is a Nurture Guide available to pray with you after the worship gathering. This prayer is a short time where your specific concerns can be lifted up in prayer.

Journeying during Seasons of Prayer:

There are times in our life when we need someone who will listen and pray with us and for us for a season. Nurture Guides stand ready to be your companion during a season of prayer.

Hospital Visitation:

Nurture Guides visit those who are in the hospital to bring joy and assurance that Christ is our healer.

Nurture Guides send cards to encourage others and to let them know they are being prayed for.

Receptions for Funerals:

Nurture Guides arrange family and friend receptions after funerals in our desire to remind those who are suffering that God’s love endures.
