If you are new to mindfulness or need a refresher course this class will renew your commitment to the importance of mindfulness in everyday life and relationships. Numerous reputable scientific studies, including several conducted by Harvard Medical School (see below) have shown that regular mindfulness meditation can reduce the stress and anxiety in your life as well as other emotional and physical problems.

Please join us in this class that explores how mindfulness can improve your life and introduces several mindfulness meditations that can help develop your own practice. A significant number of others who have taken this class have reported how mindfulness has given them a tool to address stress and anxiety and improve the quality of their lives. Bob Lawrence is a seasoned mindfulness meditation practitioner who has recently taught a number of mindfulness stress reduction classes that introduce mindfulness and demonstrate the benefits of regular meditation practice. Bob has completed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course (University of Massachusetts Medical Center) mindfulness into his commute, profession and relationships. Bob very much enjoys sharing his experience with the "miracle of mindfulness" and showing the positive influence that learning these skills can have on all of our lives.

This class complements the Mindful Integral Yoga practice that is offered on Tuesday nights and the monthly Breath and Meditation class complementing mind/body stress reduction in a fully inclusive, welcoming community.
