Crossroads Kids: Where God’s Kids Grow

Jesus Blesses the Children
Luke 18:15-17 One day some parents brought their little children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But when the disciples saw this, they scolded the parents for bothering him. Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”

Every Sunday at 9:00 and 11:00 am, a group of dedicated and loving volunteers serve the youngest members of our Crossroads family by embracing them with the unconditional love of God and the teachings Jesus.

We will offer a Children Designed Worship Gathering at both services, where we will sing songs, pray and learn our weekly Bible Verse in community.
The kids will dive into the Biblical Story and learn more about it in a classroom setting. In the classroom the teachers will pray with our kids and will focus on a “monthly mission” to serve our Loudoun community, our DC friends and our Uganda and Guatemala brothers and sisters. Kids will be using their creativity and will have fun making a craft.

A gluten free/peanut free environment is offered in our Crossroads Kids Area.

Please contact Flor Norris-Hoydilla if you have any questions about Crossroads Kids.

Come be a part of the experience! Volunteer opportunities available Sunday mornings at 9 and 11 am. Click Here.

Crossover Retreat for Rising 6th Graders

The Crossover Retreat is held each August prior to the beginning of the school year. It is designed for rising sixth graders and their parents as students transition from Children's Ministry to MIddle School. It is an overnight retreat where parents and preteens make memories, share life stories and learn how to navigate the joys and challenges of adolescence together. The retreat combines outdoor activities (zip lines and low ropes), family challenge and support course, storytellings, s'mores and unforgettable blessing under the stars.

Please contact Flor Norris-Hoydilla for more information.
