Identity Theft: I Am What Others Think

March 24, 2013

"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

  1. As a child, what did I learn from my parents or guardians about the importance of what other people think about me? How has that shaped how I am today?
  2. How much of how I feel about myself is tied to what I perceive others think of me? How does that help or hinder me in my everday life?
  3. How, specifically, might my more fully accepting that God loves me unconditionally affect how dependent I am on the approval of others?
  4. What did I hear or experience today that was most impactful? What, if anything, am I feeling inspired to do as a result?
